Crewing Officer

Job Summary: The Crewing Officer is responsible for the end-to-end management of seafarers’ employment cycles. You will ensure that every vessel in our fleet is manned by qualified, certified, and competent crew members, strictly adhering to STCW, MLC 2006, and Flag State requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage crew recruitment, selection, and mobilization/demobilization processes.
  • Monitor and verify the validity of seafarers’ certificates and travel documents.
  • Coordinate with manning agencies to ensure a steady pool of qualified talent.
  • Arrange crew travel, visas, and flag state endorsements.
  • Maintain accurate crew records and data in the fleet management system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in crewing or manning agencies.
  • Strong understanding of STCW, MLC 2006, and international maritime labor laws.
  • Proficient in English and maritime software systems.
