Job Summary: The HSEQ Manager leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS). You will be the primary driver for a “Safety First” culture, ensuring zero accidents, zero spills, and full compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits (ISM, ISPS, and MLC) for both office and vessels.
- Lead incident investigations and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Monitor fleet compliance with MARPOL, SOLAS, and other international regulations.
- Manage the company’s document control system and safety manuals.
- Coordinate with external auditors and Classification Societies.
Qualifications:
- Master Mariner or Chief Engineer experience is highly preferred.
- Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/14001/45001 or ISM Code).
- Strong analytical skills and experience in risk management.
- Extensive knowledge of maritime safety codes and environmental legislation.
